Super 8, and King/Queen of the Court
Super is one of the most popular social formats in beach tennis. Players come together for a single event and play a fixed set of doubles matches — 14 with eight players, 6 with six, 3 with four. Instead of sticking with one partner, players rotate so that everyone teams up and competes against a fair mix of the group.
Every game counts toward an individual ranking. As results come in, players are ordered from first to last based on their performance across all their matches — so at the end of the night there's a clear champion, even though everyone played together.
King/Queen of the Court is the second format, for 4, 8, 12 or 16 players. Everyone is drawn into groups of four and rotates partners inside the group; the top two of each group qualify, are paired into fixed teams, and those teams play the finals. Both formats are fiddly to score by hand — shifting partners and running totals for a dozen people — which is exactly what this app takes care of.

Frequently asked questions
How many players do I need?
Super plays with 4, 6 or 8. King/Queen of the Court runs with 4, 8, 12 or 16, drawn into groups of four.
How many matches are played?
It depends on the format and the size: a Super with eight players is 14 doubles matches, with six it is 6, with four it is 3. King/Queen plays three matches per group plus the finals. The app generates them either way.
How are players ranked?
In Super, every player is ranked individually from the games they win and lose. In King/Queen the group stage ranks players individually, and then the finals decide the placings.
Do I need an internet connection?
The mobile app works fully offline, so patchy beach Wi-Fi is never a problem.
Is it free?
The web app is free (supported by ads). The mobile app offers an optional upgrade that removes ads and unlocks multiple simultaneous tournaments.

What is King/Queen of the Court?
A second format. Players are drawn into groups of four and rotate partners inside the group; the top two of each group qualify, pair into fixed teams, and play the finals.
Can players add themselves?
Yes. Share a registration link or QR code and each player types their own name into a slot, so you are not typing eight names yourself. If the event is full they join a waiting list and move up when a place opens.
